The Behavioral Health Alliance of Texas (BHAT), formerly known as Texas Opioid Treatment Alliance (TOTA), was created to ensure quality of care, equal access to evidence-based treatments, and advocacy related to behavioral health care parity for persons across Texas.

Our Mission
We aim to reduce and eliminate the negative consequences of addiction in our communities, to encourage healthier lifestyles related to at-risk public health behavior, and promote stronger families through multi-level prevention, such as: education, intervention and treatment.

Our leadership and staff are dedicated to improving behavioral health services in Texas through advocacy, funding, and the utilization of the latest advances in evience based treatments.
